1The material

Paste text, upload a file, add a link, or let the app find a public work. You can add several sources — an interview and a talk, for instance. Whole books are fine.

Tips for good material
  • Unpolished speech (journals, letters, long conversations) reads better than a rehearsed talk.
  • Label each source with its year. When sources differ in date, the most recent one decides the current reading; older ones show the road travelled.
  • Long works are read in parts first; the evidence found is appended to the reading.
  • Files: txt, md, pdf, docx, epub, fb2, srt, vtt, html. Scanned PDFs have no text — paste those. Kindle files: convert to EPUB first.

Describe a published interview, speech, memoir or talk and the app will look for its full text online. You choose which copy to use. The reading is built only from that text — never from the model's memory of it.

Two kinds of note, both optional. Neither is treated as evidence — the reading quotes only the material itself.

2The framing

Who does the material show, and how? This decides how the evidence is weighed.

Optional. One question — a pattern you noticed, something you can't place. The first paragraph of the reading answers it.
